Mhhhh, in fact I did not think to use a specific technique, since no one has ever taught me, but then I discovered that it is the circulism!
I believe that Google or Youtube you will find some useful tutorial ;) (Wink) ;) (Wink)

Uhmmmm... I don't know! Using a grid to have a detailed drawing, and then I will just copy what I see with a lot of patience ^___^
Thank you for the commentHeart

Fair enough!! See I use the grid method as well but it never quite turns out how I want it to!!
I guess I just need to keep on practicing!!

You have to watch very carefully what is in each square, sometimes the eyelashes or freckles (Heart  Dean) make the difference.
You control the drawing, not he who controls you!

Yeah I do find that sometimes I'm looking at the picture but then not really drawing what I see but what I think is there! If that makes sense!!

Makes sense ... but don't do it! XD
Have you seen my WIP? Proceed one piece at a time, in no hurry to finish ... focused on one particular at once: an eye, nose, lip, and copy what you see without worrying about the surrounding areas. ;) (Wink)

Of course! However, with "time",I meant to say also that you have to spend a lot of time on each design, so as to define all the details ^ __ ^

Honestly ... I do not know! I will just copy what I see, I do not have a precise technique.
One thing, though, I can tell to you.
A beard, to being realistic, must be irregular: nobody has hair perfectly equidistant as you can see in some drawings! Small touches random of pencil are ideal.  ^__^
